1) Remove the cable tidy rear bezel carefully. Shown below is a picture of an iMedia machine although other models are different the positions of the labels change only slightly.
2) Packard Bell have available for download the Serial Number Detection Utility. This utility will acquire the serial number of the unit from the software build.
3) If neither of the above methods work then the serial number is also available from the System Credentials, the Registry (found in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NEC COMPUTERS INTERNATIONAL\system\information\) and by using the Peek tools. |
